My current choice of listening pleasure, The 5-Second Rule by Mel Robbins. This morning was my first attempt at her 5-4-3-2-1-GO advise… how did it go? you ask… It didn’t. I talked myself out of it.
I woke up with my alarm and said 5-4-3-I’m tired-I don’t feel good-blah-blah-blah… 2-1-GO has passed and I am still in bed. I proceeded to hit the snooze 2 more times. When I did finally get out of bed, I promptly took a shower and realized that I will be running a bit late this morning.
Am I going to beat myself up over it? Nope.
Am I going to try again tomorrow? You bet.
Do something today that your future self will thank you for.
Tomorrows another day. Another day for a new beginning. Another day to try new things. Another day to make new memories and better decisions.
