So, I am a slacker…. I know I have good intentions when I say I’m going to do something, for instance, sign up for a 10K in Fargo. So, to realize that the race is only 10 days away, I have come to terms with the fact that those 6+ miles will hurt and make me huff and puff like I’m blowing down a cinder block house.
That being said, it’s ok… While I have neglected to train, I am pretty good with going with the flow. So, I will put on my granny panties (comfy for running) and lace up my purple shoes and make the most of it… at least I know that an ice cold brew and cheeseburger are waiting for me at the finish line.
